They convert the measured values into linear 4 to 20 mA signals and optional 0 to 10 Vdc output can also be offered under request<br \/>\nThe microprocessor based circuit enables full configuration of output range when used with the PC interface and the Windows based software.<br \/>\nThe humidity signal can be configured to either relative humidity or dew point output.<br \/>\nThe ADP14-WM-FLP model is dedicated to wall mounted applications and the ADP14-DM-FLP version is suitable for duct and through-the-wall applications in hazardous environments.<\/p>\n<h5>Configuration :<\/h5>\n<p>ADP14-WM and ADP14-DM configuration is performed by using the software and interface which is connected to a PC RS232 comm port<br \/>\nDuring configuration the transmitter must be electrically powered and this can be provided by the Config interface which draws power from the RS232 port. Some PC RS232 ports do not provide enough voltage and in this case an external energy source must be used.<br \/>\nA practical choice is to use a 9 V battery attached to the TxConfig interface battery clip. Another way is to energyse the transmitter via its regular loop-power source.<br \/>\nWith the configuration one can set the transmitted output range, correct measuring deviations (zero correction) and choose sensor failure conditions (upscale or downscale).
