The PTC Protection Relay PTCRK is used for tripping motors, transformers, etc. whenever an excessive temperature develops in the winding. The Relay controlled by Positive Temperature Co-efficient thermistors guarantees first of all the thermal overload protection of electrical machines. The switching point of the complete protection is specified by the nominal response temperature of the used thermistors. Appliances with two input circuits offer the possibility of warning and shut-off. The thermistor Protection Relay PTCRK can be used with all thermistors with a characteristic curve according to DIN 44081 / 082 in a single or multiple setting
